Management change central/eastern Europe

Dr. Armin Stoltz is the new man in charge of central and eastern European energy business at Aare-Tessin AG für Elektrizität (Atel). Stoltz, a 42-year-old engineer from Hanover, assumes his new post at the Olten-based electricity trading company on 1 October 2000.

New manager for central/eastern Europe

Armin Stoltz replaces Orlando Crameri, who took responsibility for southern Europe on 1 July 2000. Stoltz has many years' intense involvement with developing new markets. At PreussenElektra, he was long responsible for business development in Poland and Scandinavia. In his previous post at BEB Erdgas und Erdöl GmbH (Hanover), Stoltz was in charge of strategic business development in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Atel is an electricity trader active throughout Europe. Atel energy sales for the first half of 2000 totalled 15,652 million kWh.
